I am moving to Cyprus from Spain and I am interested in obtaining the non-dom status by forming a LDT company. I am a crypto trader and I need to close all my activities in Spain and transfer my crypto portfolio to my company in Cyprus.

Non-Dom Status:

• Is it possible to obtain a rental agreement and a utility bill without renting a property for the whole year?
• How many people can share a property under the rental agreement and split the utility bills?
• I own a house in Spain, which is not rented out, and I have an income from an agreement with my last company. How can I demonstrate that my economic interests are in Cyprus despite these incomes in Spain?

Crypto Portfolio:

• Can I directly contribute my wallets as capital to the company without selling my assets? That is, transfer the management of the wallets (with their private keys).
  • In this case, what kind of documentation is required to formalize the change, and how are the values of each asset taken at the time of contribution?
  • What happens with assets that have vesting periods or presales of cryptos that are not yet traded on the market?
  • Would this be considered a taxable event as an individual at the time of the capital contribution?
  • For the company's subsequent accounting, would the FIFO method start at the moment of the capital contribution?
• If I cannot directly contribute the wallets:
  • Can assets in kind, such as cryptos, be directly contributed, or must the capital contribution be in fiat?
    • In kind (cryptos): What happens with airdrops or assets with vesting periods? Should I contribute them as they unlock, and would this generate a taxable event as an individual (paying income tax)?
    • FIAT: In this case, do I need to go through Cypriot banking, or can I make the contribution from an exchange like Binance?
