Brief
Cyprus company buys goods from Greece and they are sold to 3rd countries.
Sometimes goods purchased from Greece stay in Greek bonded houses and then send over to clients in 3rd countries.
Issue:
The suppliers are charging Greek VAT as the goods do not leave Greece. We do not feel we should be locally VAT registered and claim the Greek VAT via Greek Branch Representative (too complicated, costly, cost benefit not suffices).
Querries:
- We are not sure how to show these purchases i the Cyprus VAT returns
- WE are not sure about intrastat obligations - are these purchases considered for intrastat purposes (we believe not)
- We need extra comfort in Greece - are we handling this correctly
- Overall we need to know our VAT obligations in this area
Fee
- Is an indication -if it is too low feel free to send realistic offer
